Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
established in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization and the UN Environment Programme, the IPCC surveys world-wide scientific and technical literature and publishes assessment reports that are widely recognized as the most credible existing sources of information on climate change. The IPCC also works on methodologies and responds to specific requests from the Convention's subsidiary bodies. The IPCC is independent of the Convention.
Inventory of GHG emissions
collecting, structuring, analysis, synthesis, and archiving of all data necessary to estimate or measure the actual anthropogenic emissions of GHG by sources, including the preparation of the methodological process of inventory owned by a legal entity or in the region or involved in the project for a period determined parties.
Investing Party
country that acquires ERUs or an application for ERUs from JI project, or permit the acquisition of entities.
